Election in U.S is such a big deal that presendential contenders are now utilizing all means including spams to get their message across the web world. I got this in my yahoo inbox today:

What I like about US elections is that in the end, they are all required to reveal sources of their election funds. In our country, it doesn’t exist. If ever our politicians decide to do the same, I can only imagine what will appear on the topmost list of their own election fund contributor: Filipino TAX PAYER!

So I’ve been missing from blogosphere for almost a week or two (?) and I just got a chance to read and update my blog. Last Saturday we had our baby’s dedication at Max Salitran and prior to that, I’ve been busy preparing stuffs for it. I was incharge of looking for prince costume, making some soveineers etc..it was hectic and really time consuming. But we had fun so it was good.
Anyway, an interesting thing happend to me last week. Somebody from same building where I work offered me a “chance to do whatever i want after 2 or 3 yrs and still have a nice passive income like 200k to 250k month”. So I took interest on looking at it and had a one on one meeting at McDo which is beside our building. I was supposed to know more about the business but the chinese guy who works directly with the business seems to enjoy knowing more about me, my values, ambitions and private life than the actual business his proposing. Today, I’m suppose to go to Glorietta 2 for food trip of vegetable meals (I’m currently in SouthBeach diet) I haven’t tasted. As I was about to enter the bus, somebody from Network TwentyOne called me to inform me of our meeting at 12pm. Good thing the guy called, had not been for that call, I would have died or hurt in the blast that happend today in Glorietta.
Oh well…God is good..all the time!

As expected, I screwed up! Last night my wife cooked pininyahang manok and I devoured it like crazy. I plan to eat no more after 6pm but wife’s delicious meal destroyed my plan into thin air. Anyway, I’ve managed to lose 1lb. I guess this is all due to lost of water in my body as I’ve been walking a lot fast lately plus I’ve managed to eradicate rice (except last night’s meal) and pastry. What I’ve noticed so far from this diet is I’m getting a couple of hours deep sleep (REM). I normally would fall asleep an hour after I close my eyes and would only sleep deep in 2 hours or so, hence when I woke up, I still feel sleepy. The past few days I noticed that I’m getting extra hours of deep sleep and I feel so energized to start right away.
Anyway, check this new concept phone from Samsung!

One of those things that I’ve been hearing from old friends right after I got married goes like this “Whoa!Sam what happend to you!” or “Sam, you look like a dad now!” or the most blatant and straightforward of them all “Sam you look fat!”. True enough, I checked my weight today and I’m in the scale of 72kg! I was constantly checking my weight before I got married and I remember my ideal weight being 60kg. How I got into my present weight I can only blaim myself, white bread, my love for pasta, fried chicken, free sodas in the office, late dinner and life style.
I know people have been saying the men normally gets heavier after marriage but what I got looks like more than that! Technically, I’m already obese!*laughs* and so today I decided to start again South Beach Diet which I’ve already tested to work OK for me until I got married. Read the rest of this entry »

My son will now turn 1 yr old on Oct 25. As part of the preparation for the party, w hired photographer and videographer. I was asked to collect a couple of pictures and I saw this. Its amazing how my son’s physical feature has change after 11 months.
The image on left shows him few minutes after wife gave birth while the other was his picture during Enfant awarding. The former image looks like he got his feature from my father in law however, as my sons grows, he’s getting more handsome like his daddy
Anyway, I shall head straight to SM Makati after work to look for Prince costume. His birthday party’s theme will be royal kingdom. Hopefully, I won’t have a hard time shopping for the costume .

I was checking my stats via mybloglog.com stats dashboard and noticed an incoming traffic from google.com. You know what the search keyword was? Apparently, somebody from the world was searching for “Cute Picture of Filipino Guy” and the result when I did it myself was this:

My own blog lands on top of other 132k search pages! Hahahaha..now I don’t know if the guy/gal searching became disappointed upon checking my blog or what. Wala lang….

Yesterday, I rode motorcycle on my way to MRT. I know they are not allowed to take passengers from Boni Global City because its a private property and only taxis and The Fort bus are allowed in there, however I need to to go home and I couldn’t wait for The Fort Bus anymore.
As I was about to give my Php20 to the driver, a police in motorcycle appeared out of nowhere demanding for the driver’s license. I knew it..I saw it coming! Anyway, I was told that when a police asked for the driver’s license, I have to be fair to the driver and just tell the police (if asked) that he’s a friend…so that his license will not be confiscated and pay a fine of Php500. And so the moment came, the police asked me if I knew the guy. Guess how I responded? Read the rest of this entry »

I started this blog first day of August and followed by two other blogs (www.myfabhome.com and www.personalmoneymanagementexpert.com) and I can say the earnings I’ve earned so far is quite acceptable. Although I must admit it’s not a good passive source of income as I still need to spend some small time on it, I do believe that this blogging thing really works for me. Anyway, here’s the breakdown of my earnings so far: Read the rest of this entry »

This article from CNN started my day in a funny note.
A U.S senator filed a lawsuit against God for “permanent injunction ordering Defendant to cease certain harmful activities and the making of terroristic threats”. However, something unexpected happens. God responded by saying He’s immune from Earthly laws and that the court lacks jurisdiction.
There’s two things that come mind. First that it’s kind of funny and second that it’s a total waste of tax workers money. Which If I lived out there, I’d be raising royal stink about it. If a Filipino senator tries duplicating this stunt, I can’t imagine what will become of him.
BREAKING: Senator Ernie Chambers Killed by Lighting..hahahaha!
